Free Puzzle Games Online

Puzzle games for when you want to think rather than react. Start with Sudoku, the number puzzle played in newspapers all over the world: fill a 9x9 grid so every row, column and 3x3 box holds the digits 1 to 9 once. Every puzzle here is made fresh in your browser with exactly one solution, from Easy grids you can finish on a coffee break to Hard ones that need pencil notes and real deduction. Next to it you will find a memory matching game, a number merging puzzle and a pipe puzzle, each one quick to learn.

Every game is free, with no download and no account. They are built for phone screens first, with big tap targets, and work just as well with a mouse and keyboard. Your progress, best times, streaks and medals for each difficulty stay in your browser, and an unfinished Sudoku is saved if you close the page. More classic puzzles, such as Minesweeper, are on the way.

How to play Sudoku

In Sudoku some cells start with a digit. Tap an empty cell, then tap a number on the pad: it is written in only if it is right, and on Medium and Hard three wrong numbers end the game. Look for cells where only one digit is still possible in their row, column and box, and for digits that fit in only one cell of a box. On Hard, write pencil notes and look for pairs of cells that share the same two candidates.
