Tap left or right to pick the open lane before the next slab of the collapsing tunnel reaches you.
👆 Tap left/right half to switch lane ← All gamesTunnel is a one-finger descent game set inside a shaft that is coming apart around you. Your pod holds position near the bottom of the screen while slabs of the tunnel drop toward it, and every slab seals off exactly one of the two lanes — sometimes the left, sometimes the right, in no fixed order. Tap the half of the screen that is still open and the pod slides across into the clear gap. The shaft never stops falling and it speeds up the deeper you go, so there is no safe pace to settle into, only a run that lasts a bit longer than the last one. It plays free in any browser, on a phone or a desktop, with nothing to install.
The pink hatched half of each incoming slab is solid rock; the faintly glowing blue half is the way through. Tap the left side of the screen to move your pod left, the right side to move it right. Slipping cleanly past a slab adds to your depth, and slabs are worth more points the further down you get. Clipping one costs a hull pip — the three green dots in the top left. Lose all three and the run ends.
Openings are generated randomly, so a steady left-right-left rhythm is the fastest way to die: read each slab instead of guessing. Move early — the pod takes a moment to cross, and a tap made as the slab arrives often lands you half in the rock. Because points scale with depth, one long descent is worth far more than several short ones, so protect that last hull pip rather than pushing for speed. When the frame flashes pink you are one impact from the end.
