One sprinkler, eight thirsty garden plots. The head turns by itself. Hold to open the valve on the plot it points at, and let go when that gauge reaches the green band. Holding slows the head down, so the plots behind it keep drying out while you wait.

One rotating sprinkler sits in the middle cell, and the eight cells around it are planted beds. Each bed has a glass water gauge on its corner, and each gauge drains at its own pace. The sprinkler head sweeps round by itself. Your only control is the valve: press and hold anywhere to open it and water the bed the head is pointing at, and let go to shut it off.
The catch is that opening the valve slows the head to well under half speed. A long, deep drink for a nearly dry bed is worth more points, but while you give it, every other bed is still drying out and waiting for the jet to come round. Close the valve with the gauge inside the green band for a clean fill. Clean fills build a multiplier of up to five times, deeper drinks pay more, and stopping in the narrow perfect band near the top adds a bonus. Let a gauge run dry and its flowers wilt. Keep watering past the red line and the bed drowns. Each lost bed comes back as a seedling a few seconds later. Lose three and the season is over.
At 55 points an amber nozzle opens on the opposite side of the head. From then on every drink waters two beds at once, and a dry spell sets in, so every bed drains faster than before. Before you hold, read the gauge across the board as well: a thirsty bed can drown its full partner.
