Your only control is the burner: hold anywhere on the screen to fire it and climb, release to let the balloon sink back down. That single input hides a surprising amount of depth, because a balloon has momentum — it keeps rising after you let go and keeps falling after you press. Learning to feather the burner in short bursts instead of long holds is the difference between a ten-second flight and a two-minute one.
Tap to launch, then hold to rise and release to sink. Two kinds of air traffic share your sky: birds, which are small but bob up and down on a wave as they fly, and planes, which are longer and faster but hold a perfectly straight line. Touch either one and your balloon pops. The sky gets busier and faster the longer you survive, and your score ticks up quicker as the difficulty climbs.
Stay near the middle of the screen so you can dodge in either direction. Judge a bird by the center of its wave, not its current position — it will not be there when it reaches you. Planes are easier to read: pick a side early and commit, because your vertical speed is limited and last-moment panic climbs rarely clear a fuselage.
