Tap anywhere on the screen to flap once and rise. Release and the bird falls. Time your taps to squeeze through the gaps between the pipes. You score for every moment you stay in the air, and points come faster as the pipes speed up. Touch a pipe or the ground and it's over. The pipes are randomly spaced — no pattern to memorize.
Short rapid taps keep you at a stable height. Long pauses cause big drops. Try to stay in the middle third of the screen — it gives you the most room to react to high and low gaps. Getting past 10 pipes is a genuine achievement.
