Play classic Klondike solitaire free in your browser: the patience card game most people simply call solitaire, with Draw 1, Draw 3 and an Easy Deal that is always winnable.
The goal is to move all 52 cards onto the four foundations at the top right, one pile per suit, starting with the Ace and building up to the King. The game deals seven columns, the tableau: the first column has one card, the last has seven, and only the top card of each is face up.
In the tableau you build down in alternating colours, so a red 6 goes on a black 7 and a black Jack goes on a red Queen. You can move a single card or a whole face-up run in one go, as long as its top card fits. When you move the last face-up card off a column, the hidden card under it turns over. Only a King, or a run that starts with a King, may go into an empty column.
When you run out of moves, tap the stock at the top left to turn cards onto the waste pile. The top card of the waste can go to a foundation or onto the tableau. When the stock is empty, tap it again to turn the waste back over and go through it once more. You can also bring a card back down from a foundation if you need it to hold a lower card.
Tap any face-up card and it jumps to its best legal spot: a foundation first, then a move that frees a hidden card, then any other column. Tap the same card again to try its next spot. Hint shows a good move, Undo takes moves back, Restart deals the same cards again, and once every card is face up the Hint button becomes Finish and plays the rest for you. You win when all four suits are complete.
Easy Deal turns one card at a time with no limit on passes, and every deal has been played through by a solver first, so you know it can be won. Draw 1 uses the same rules with a fully random deal, the way most people play. Draw 3 turns three cards at a time, lets you play only the top one, and allows just three passes through the stock. Each mode keeps its own wins, streak, best time and medals: bronze for a win, silver and gold for fast wins.
Yes. It is Klondike with the standard rules and the standard scoring: 10 points for each card you put on a foundation, 5 for each card moved from the waste to the tableau and 5 for each hidden card you turn over, minus 15 for taking a card back off a foundation, and a time bonus when you win.
In Draw 1 you turn one card from the stock at a time, so every card is reachable on every pass. In Draw 3 you turn three at once and can only play the top one, so the cards underneath come round in a different order. Draw 3 here also allows only three passes through the stock, which makes it the hardest mode.
No. Some Klondike deals cannot be won however well you play. If you want a deal you know can be won, pick Easy Deal: every one of those deals is played through by a solver before you see it.
Yes, as often as you like. The Undo button takes back one move at a time, all the way to the deal, and it also works on the No moves left screen.
