Throw the points with one finger and route every train down whichever branch is currently showing green.
👆 Tap anywhere to throw the points ← All gamesSignal puts you in the signal box of a night junction where a single trunk line splits into two branches. Trains come down that trunk without ever slowing, and each branch carries a signal head with a red lamp and a green one. Only one branch is green at a time, and the lamps swap over on a timer of their own that has nothing to do with when the next train shows up. Your only tool is the points: one tap swings them from the left branch to the right and back. Whichever way they happen to be lying when a locomotive rolls over them is the way that train goes, and there is no calling it back. It runs free in any browser, on a phone or a desktop, with nothing to install and no account.
Tap anywhere to throw the points — the glowing green rail stub at the junction shows which branch is currently set. A train sent onto the green branch runs clean off the bottom of the screen and pays out points multiplied by your current chain. A train sent onto the red branch hits the buffers a moment later and costs one of your three pips. Points also tick up for every second the junction stays open, faster as the timetable tightens.
Do not tap in rhythm. The lamps flip on their own clock, so a steady tapping pattern will eventually drift into sending train after train the wrong way. Watch the signal heads rather than the trains, set the points early, then leave them alone until the lamps actually change. Later on the lamps swap faster than the trains arrive, and the real skill becomes ignoring a swap that will flip back before the next locomotive gets there.
