The scaffold climbs a tier at a time on its own. Leave tiers loose and the payout grows with the square of the batch — but so does the sway. Tap as the tower swings through upright to bolt them all, before it sways past the red line and topples.
👆 Tap to bolt the loose tiers · best on the upright swing ← All gamesScaffold puts you in charge of a steel tower that will not stop growing. Every couple of seconds the crane hoists another tier into place on top, whether you are ready or not. A fresh tier arrives loose, and loose tiers are where the money is. When you bolt them down you bank the whole loose batch at once, and the batch pays the square of its size: one tier is worth one point, three are worth nine, and five are worth twenty-five. The catch is the sway. Every loose tier makes the top of the tower whip a little harder, and heavy tiers, flagged red on the hoist, add far more than light ones.
Tap anywhere, or press the space bar, to bolt every loose tier. The level at the bottom of the screen shows the swing. When the bubble crosses the green zone the tower is passing through upright, and a bolt there is clean. Clean bolts of two or more tiers build a combo multiplier up to five times. You can bolt at any moment, but an off-plumb bolt locks the current lean into the frame for good. It banks only half the points with no multiplier and lowers the red limit on the sway meter, so every panic bolt makes the rest of the climb tighter, and enough of them buckle the frame outright. Clean batches true it back a little. The dashed box on the meter shows how much sway the tier on the hoist will add. If it pushes the meter over the red line, the tower starts creaking and topples at the end of its swing unless you bolt straight away, plumb or not.
Past sixty points the wind gets up. Streamers on the mast and streaks across the sky warn of each gust about two seconds ahead. A gust shoves your loose stack hard, and an unbraced stack three tiers or taller is blown clean over. Brace by bolting while the gust is flagged, which halves the shove. A fully bolted tower shrugs a gust off for a bonus. So the question changes from how much sway you can stand to whether you cash out early or ride out the wind with your multiplier still climbing. If you like push-your-luck timing, try Belfry. For a tower you build by hand, play Stackup, and for a swinging drop, try Crane.
