Your bee flies down an endless meadow lane. Hold to dip onto a flower and release to climb. Pick up pollen, then only touch flowers of that colour to make them bloom and grow your chain. Climb over thornbushes, and keep blooming or your nectar runs dry.

Flowers stand one after another down a single lane, and each one is pink, blue or orange. You only control height: the bee cruises above the meadow on its own until you press, then drops down to skim the flower heads. That single change of height is the whole game, because whatever the bee touches changes what it carries.
Hold anywhere to dip and let go to climb back up. Your first dip picks up pollen of that flower's colour, shown as a ring of dots circling the bee. After that, dip only onto flowers of the same colour: each one bursts into bloom, refills your nectar and adds to your chain, and every third link raises the multiplier, up to five times. Touch a flower of another colour and you swap pollen and lose the chain. Fly over a flower of your colour without dipping and you lose the chain too. So every flower asks a question: is it mine, and is a run of a different colour coming that is worth swapping for? Thornbushes grow in the lane as well, and a dip held a moment too long drags the bee through them and costs a wing. The nectar meter drains all the time, so you cannot simply cruise high and wait.
After about half a minute, bramble arches start spanning the lane at cruising height. You must dip to pass under them, and a low bee touches the flower standing beneath, so an arch over the wrong colour forces a swap. Pink flowers have star heads, blue ones cube heads and orange ones round heads, so you can tell them apart by shape as well as colour. Chill mode gives you four wings and a slower meadow.
