Reflex

Finale!

Rockets climb from five mortars, each in a colour. One tap bursts the whole sky, and the biggest same-colour group scores squared. Wait for more matches, but a rocket that reaches the red line fizzles, and three fizzles end the show.

Finale — Free Online 3D Fireworks Colour Match Reflex Game

Finale puts you in charge of the closing number of a fireworks show. Five mortars stand in a row on a dark field, and one after another they send a coloured rocket climbing toward a red line strung between two lamp poles. You have exactly one button: a single tap bursts every rocket in the sky at once. That is the whole game, and it is harder than it sounds, because the show is scored on colour. Only the biggest group of matching shells really counts, and it counts squared.

How to play

Four pink rockets burst together are worth sixteen; five are worth twenty-five. So you wait, watching the chip at the bottom of the screen that shows what a tap would pay right now. The catch is the ceiling. Any rocket that reaches the red line fizzles out, and three fizzles end the show. Firing at an empty sky is a misfire and burns a fuse too, so do not hammer the screen. And once four or more rockets are up, a burst with no group of three is a weak finale that costs a fuse as well, so either cash in early while the sky is quiet or hold your nerve for the match. A shell starts to flicker when it enters the danger band near the top, so you always see a fizzle coming. Look at the mortar caps too: each one glows the colour it has loaded, and the white dot marks the next to fire, so you can tell whether the match you need is a second away or five launches off. A burst with a group of four or more grows your combo up to three times; a group of six or more also gives back a lost life.

Chameleon shells

After the opening act, white-rimmed chameleon shells join the show. They change colour as they climb and count as whatever colour they show at the moment you tap, so a perfect burst becomes a matter of timing as well as patience. A chameleon that fizzles costs two lives. Chill mode uses three colours, Normal four and Hard five, with faster launches.
